We empower women by guiding and supporting them as they feed their babies with natural, wonderfully healthy breast milk.

We offer breastfeeding support in Siouxland through:

• Nursing Lounge
• Baby Weigh Clinic
• Breast pumps
• 4th Trimester Support Group, Mondays from 10-11am
• Breastfeeding Education Classes
• Lactation Consultations and IBCLC services
• Breast Milk Sharing Program

Postpartum

Guiding Star Siouxland also provides resources for women looking for support during their postpartum period. We can serve you with:

• Emotional health counseling for postpartum depression or processing birth trauma
• Postpartum depression treatment with NaPro technology
• Postpartum Doulas
• Chiropractic, Physical Therapy, and Massage

Breastfeeding is a healthy, natural biological process, and we empower women by guiding and supporting them as they feed their babies.

Each of the Guiding Star Project centers offer breastfeeding support services, either through the services of a certified lactation support person or through resources to guide women to local lactation consultants. Each center also offers a quarterly breastfeeding class.

All of our centers provide resources for women seeking support in their postpartum period. Some of our centers provide postpartum support in the form of meal trains, rent and utility assistance, milk sharing, and emotional health counseling for women experiencing postpartum depression or processing birth trauma.
