Guiding Star Siouxland is a women’s healthcare center at 111 Arizona Ave NW, Orange City, IA. Since 2016 we’ve been serving the northwest Iowa through our four pillars of care that emphasize pro-life medical and educational services.

Sarah Hurm

Sarah Hurm went for a chemical abortion when facing her fourth unplanned pregnancy and being afraid of what this meant for her life. Immediately filled with regret, she reached out to a pregnancy resource center that taught her about the abortion pill reversal that led to raising a son who has brought immeasurable joy to her life!

Abby Dahl

As a High School Student, Abby Dahl thought abortion was her best option to keep her unplanned pregnancy a secret. She knew she could not care for the baby, but she found hope through Guiding Star Siouxland and support in giving her child life through adoption.

Makayla De Jong

Makayla De Jong is the Nurse Manager at Guiding Star Siouxland, where she leads the delivery of compassionate, life-affirming healthcare. Passionate about empowering women, she has been instrumental in expanding services like fertility care, pregnancy support, and well-woman exams. Makayla’s dedication to honoring women’s natural design inspires her work and her message as a guest speaker at this year’s Annual Gala.
